The making of Danish Airlaid

Primo 2006, Lars Dahl Laursen and Mogens Olesen created the business concept of the innovative airlaid company where they will apply their know-how to develop unique products to match the individual customer’s needs. The business concept took on a seriously development phase when the former town mayor of Horsens municipality, Vagn Ry Nielsen, and other businesspeople from Horsens gave their unconditional support to Danish Airlaid Technology A/S.

In co-operation, the business innovators and the highly experienced board of directors created the company’s mission. This focuses and targets the customer’s needs as well as renewing the airlaid technology in order to create a favourable profit for its investors. Approx. 10 months after the first ideas were concieved on October 23. 2006, the first three historical foundation stones were laid down(see the picture) for the companys new domicile and state of the art production facility. A few weeks later - on November 13. 2006, Danish Airlaid Technology had its first official trading day at Danish AMP. Simultaneously with this event, the first foundation stone was laid for the company’s state of the art production facilities, where the topping-out ceremony, as tradition dictates, was held on janurary 26. 2007. The production team as well as the machine production have already been established to begin production in June, where we may begin to cater for the demand of our innovative products.
